Our goal is to recognize and fill our customers' needs by providing quality products and efficient services at fair prices. With our diversified product offering, complete inventory, experienced sales staff and superior sales values, we are meeting this goal every day. By helping our customers keep up with the ever changing demands of the marketplace, we are a company that helps the industry grow along with us. Our Roots

Industrial Mill & Maintenance Supply was founded by Alex Tipton in 1979. Originally headquartered in the garage of Mr. Tipton's home, business grew rapidly and, after six months, the company moved to a nearby office. In 1982, IMM moved to its current location at 4401 Waco Street in Texarkana, TX. Today, IMM is a bustling business with 44 employees and five locations in two states. From our inception, as a one-man garage operation to our current position as a regional leader, our consistent goal is your satisfaction.

Second Generation

Scott Tipton took over as our president in 2006 after the retirement of his father, Alex. Assisted by Vice President for Sales and Marketing Carl Knowlton, and our dedicated staff, Scott is carrying on the Tipton family business practices that have helped us become a regional leader. Scott's daughter Tiffany and son Hunter, representing the third generation of Tiptons, have also joined the business.
