• Ultra Bor will substantially outperform cobalt drills in work hardening stainless steel and other tough drilling applications
• Drills are heat treated at 2185 deg F and then nitro-carburize finished at 950 deg F to be measurably harder than high speed stee

• Ultra Bor drill will penetrate the work hardening steel fast enough to continually cut beneath the chip which is hardening from deformation, meaning the drill is cutting softer material
• Features a flatter point to produce smaller chips, meaning all the torque is directed to a smaller area allowing for drilling of materials with a hardness over 30 on the Rockwell "C" scale
• The smaller chips also means the drill these drills run at cooler temperatures as there is less friction
• Body and clearance are gold surface treated for maximum lubricity
• Precision ground point, flutes, body, clearance and drill diameter for the ultimate in accuracy and performance
